A Cake for 7 Years

Tommorrow is Mommy and Daddy's wedding anniversary. Vovô, can we make a cake to celebrate? Grandma Allas always enjoys cooking with her little chefs. My cousin Raul wants to participate too. Here we are adding the dry mix.

Then we have to stir in some butter...

add an egg... (carefully not to slime myself or drop pieces of shell)

pour in some milk...

Now we can beat it all together...

While the cake is baking in the oven, we can prepare things to decorate it.

Vovô teaches us well. She already cut some strawberries and pecans.

Stirr in some "leite moça" (condensed milk) with chocolate syrup... hey little sister.

spread it around the cake...

put on the pecans and strawberries...

add a candle...

Now we are ready to sing Happy Anniversary.

Of course somebody has to blow out the candle so we can eat the cake!!!!

Note from Daddy - my oldest daughter wanted to prepare a celebration for our wedding anniversary - a good excuse to bake a cake I would say and spend the night at Grandma's. She choose all the items, hung balloons, and made a card too! How precious. Thanks Anna Laura and Larissa - and Vovô! Happy Anniversary Fishinha!!
